Mack Brown is such a lovable loser, isn’t he?
Longhorns Coach Mack Brown said former coach Darrell Royal told him preseason polls are like beauty contests.
“They’re good for ticket sales, and it gets the fans excited,” Brown said. “It’s good for the players because it sets an expectation level. We tell them to enjoy it but as soon as practice starts, to forget about it and move on to the business of getting ready for the season.”
Whatever.
Mack talks such a good game. He just can’t deliver against Top 10 teams. Like the one coached by Mr. Bob Stoops.

I’d sure be happier if Mr. Brown would beat Mr. Stoops occasionally and LOSE to Mr. Franchio..Frankion…Frenchyo…DENNIS… starting this fall!
He can’t expect A&M to beat OU every year, can he?
