Funny. As such a big Son Volt fan, I find that this album resonates with me the least. And it’s not that I haven’t given it a fistful of listens. It just never … caught. Weird how that happens. Or doesn’t, as is the case here.
The cd as a whole never grabbed me like the others. Maybe that’s why I’m obsessing over the single song?
OK, so this conversation makes me drag out Straightaways this morning to see if things have changed during the last year….
