Amusing

A couple of days ago, I got back some laundry I had sent to the cleaners. I was surprised to find two neatly starched, neatly hung pillowcases amidst my pants and dress shirts. Apparently they got mixed in somehow. It marks the first time I've ever had my pillowcases starched! :)

Another amusing thing: for some reason, I really like to drink soft drinks out of beer glasses. I have a very heavy Newcastle Brown Ale glass that regularly serves up iced tea and pepsi one. I wonder if people think I am constantly drinking beer (which I rarely do at home)? I just really like the heavy glasses for some reason.

Kev, your heavy glass quirk is not so weird. I also drink my ice tea and juice ( I don't drink sodie pop now) out of a nice glass, but then I prefer water or milk in a plastic cup. I'm not sure why, but it's important! As for people wondering if you're always drinking beer, now that could be the amusing part. My neighbors must all think I'm a lush, because I'm rarely seen out working in the yard with out a Tecate in hand. Anyway, I'm wondering if we will meet any new Cro-Magnons in the neighborhood?

Ewwwwww, milk in a plastic cup? Not for me.

For me, all cold drinks at home are out of glass, and the glass must be tall and not heavy. Has to be less than a certain thickness too. Hot drinks are in ceramic mugs. The one exception is the plastic 16-oz cup I drink water out of at work.

My mother will only drink her orange juice out of a glass that holds less 8 oz. max.

I love learning about these kinds of human weirdnesses.

Starched pillowcases! I love it.
