Berlusconi Leaves Soccer Organization

The Lone Star Times laments the resignation of Sylvio Berlusconi…

As President of Milan’s soccer team?

Who knew the LST folks were such “football” fans? It just seems too Euro for ’em. 🙂

But it’s a lovely eulogy. And one supposes Milan soccer WILL be hard pressed to find another terror fighter to head up its organization.

  • You’ve got to hand it to Mr. Courreges. The Chronicle would have deleted the entire post.

  • Edit!

I remember thinking yesterday that I hadn’t seen any news stories about Berlusconi resigning and that should have been big news (I didn’t click on Owen’s link to read the article). Now I understand why it wasn’t big news. =D

  • I see Owen’s edited the post. I honestly thought they were having a little fun with the KSEV listeners — shock value and all.

Personally, I kind of like the idea of national leader as sports team head. The Rangers could sure as heck use a little W leadership these days!

  • Frankly, I’m sick of the anti-soccer bias I see at this site.

Shame on you Dr. Whited! Shame!

Some of us over at LST are big soccer fans, or rather the "real football."
