It's not just J - The big men are still improving, Hinton (freshman) has even more upside, this team is deep. An extremely fun team to watch and so coachable. Such a Kelvin Sampson team - blue collar and not glamorous, but so so precise.

Sampson finds great character guys and really develops them
The league was moderately more interesting this season (though nowhere close to the college game) and the removal of the social posturing and lecturing of fans WHO WANTED ENTERTAINMENT FROM THEIR ENTERTAINMENT has surely helped.

I really don't get transferring to a conference rival.
I don't begrudge the kid for taking advantage of the rules , which are generally stacked against athletes, but were you ever that devoted to the program if you're transferring to a rival?
Conversely: did the program do enough to build loyalty?
