** It’s easy to see he loves Houston. He digs Demeris Bar-B-Q **
Blech. Gotta upgrade coach's bbq favs

The U cannot be all that excited about where they're headed, can they?
1. Not every Power 5 Conference job is superior to every mid-major job. Houston is a great mid-major job. I would rank it in the top four jobs outside the Power 5. Boise State, Central Florida, Houston and Brigham Young. That’s the big four.

Ouch. Embarrassing he can't get anything first
But, happy he "can confirm " lol
Not really. These Coogs don't win on multiple NBA quality players or flash. They rebound like fiends, they run their sets monotonously and precisely, and they bring it defensively.
And they aren't healthy yet. When they are, that should help some of their current offensive challenges

Love the guy. Love that UH has belatedly realized it can be relevant in hoops.
Combined with Coach Sampson, it damn well should be. He's a fantastic coach and it's a beautiful facility.
UH can be relevant at hoops without a conference upgrade. It's not clear that's true of football, despite all the dollars that have been chasing that dream at UH,but so many UHers remain stubbornly football-first.

Not sure about that, but I love the guy's perspective on work-life balance!
The right move... but McCann was an important part of getting a young team over the championship hump. A great pro, and a great fit on this team.
Interesting he hasn't spoken to Stoops.
Stoops forced Heupel to coach a style (Manziel without Manziel) that didn't suit Heupel or the personnel (Trevor Knight! LoL), then fired Heupel when it failed.
Glad Heupel's not bitter and that he's figured out some things. A shame it went down how it did though
