Peikoff on O'Reilly

Did anybody catch Leonard Peikoff on The O'Reilly Factor tonight?
I don't know that his appearance won anybody over to the thought of Ayn Rand, and that is unfortunate. Her thought and writing have always been far superior to her spokesmen, whether of the ARI or non-ARI variant.
Peikoff's claims of Iranian centrality -- and willingness to use nuclear weapons against that nation -- seemed somewhat misguided. Iran certainly has been a state sponsor of terorrism in the past, and still is for that matter, but no serious thinker has accused Iran of masterminding the events of 11 September. The much more likely instigator -- if there was a state behind the attacks -- was Iraq.
At least Peikoff didn't appear as loony as Phil Donahue a few nights ago, for what it's worth.
