Clanging Gym People

When I was going through March journal entries to add to the favorites section last night, I noticed that I have a tendency to write good stuff in manic bursts for several days at a time, then have several days of relatively boring entries. This seems to be how I operate in general.

We crossed a scary neighborhood tonight on the way to Callie's parents' house. Not the scariest neighborhood I've seen in Houston, but scary enough.

I had an excellent workout this afternoon, although I am constantly shocked by the number of people doing weight training who either do not know how to use the machines properly, or who abuse the machines. The people who do the rapid motions with virtually no weight on the machines are the ones who amuse me most. I always look at them with a "What in the HELL do you think you are accomplishing?!" sort of expression. But it never seems to bother them. And they inevitably let the weights clang when they are done. Who lets these people loose?

COMMENTS

Depends on your definition of "boring". I like it all. Plus, I'd rather have short entries with light comments than no entries at all.
