Draft Day

Jimmy Johnson shares his “draft formula for success” on the Fox Sports site today.

Both the Cowboys and the Texans need some success in today’s NFL draft.

The Texans have done a decent job with their top picks, but have not done so well (in my view) with other high picks.

The Cowboys have been an absolute disaster in the draft since Jimmy Johnson left, and Bill Parcells’ pick of Jacob Rogers last year (who couldn’t actually play the position they envisioned him switching to play) didn’t inspire any considence that things are changing. The Cowboys need to come up with two starters today minimum (either by draft, trade, or some combination of the two), and desperately need at least that many more impact players.
