Friday afternoon blahs…. I could really use a nap about now!
Especially with a big night of music coming up.
There’s the amazing Wade Bowen/Stoney Larue/Django Walker lineup at the Firehouse tonight. THAT will be good.
But instead I’m going for the more mellow scene over at the Rhythm Room, where the Mandy Smith Group will open for Guy Forsyth (I hear he goes an interesting cover of Red Letter Bible, among other things, and my boss actually knows Mandy Smith).
I need to check out the Rhythm Room anyway, prior to the Glen Phillips show there next week. This will be a good opportunity to do so.
If I could just move along the c r e e p i n g workday.
