Flying the Flag

Callie and I put our American flag out earlier this evening (several days later than intended, but it's finally out). Our upstairs landlord put HIS flag out about five minutes later, though he claimed it had nothing to do with us. Our duplex is the only building on the block with a flag out.

When we got back in tonight, I liked the way it looked with the outside light on, and decided we should leave it outside. I hope nobody decides to steal it. What kind of a-hole would do that, though?
