Gay Thoughts

It's very interesting how sensitive people ranging from macho jocks to internet geeks are about the topic of homosexuality.

Callie brought this to my attention earlier by observing that a recent sarcastic online reference to homosexuality seems to have produced more comments from a certain instigator of internet acrimony about his wife and their activities than ever before recorded.

I was listening to Rome earlier, and heard about this incident between heavyweight boxers Lennox Lewis and Hasim Rahman which revolved around this very topic.

And it's been noted elsewhere this week that straight men don't even like to TALK about the gay experience.

Personally, it would bother me more to be accused of, say, being a Democrat than gay, but I can't imagine losing much sleep over either one.
