Groupies

Callie's brother came over and hung replacement sheetrock over the gaping holes in the ceiling last night, so now all that remains of the project that started roughly a week ago is to tape the seams and finish the drywall. There's no ridiculous hurry to get that part done, aside from the ugliness of it all. I've taken photos every point along the way, and when I find some spare time I'll post them. Where else do you get political philosophy AND home improvement, and in shades of gray to boot!?

We're heading off this afternoon to play Counting Crows groupies again: a show tonight in San Marcos, and tomorrow night in Huntsville. The college-campus shows they've been playing have been getting rave reviews. It should be fun, and I always like a roadtrip.

I'll be away on Saturday, but the Lovely Evelynne may throw a few links up on the weblog if she finds a few spare moments from racing her dirt bike. Gotta love a libertarian gun-totin' dirt bike chick! Much love to her and Poindexter (her hubby) as they rip up the dirt this weekend.
