Simple as ABCD

For the past few days, I've been entirely consumed by the insulation project. Tonight I decided to take a break from it to recharge a little bit, and have caught up on some reading and such. I finally had a chance to read the case that generated this discussion, and added some thoughts to the thread. And I've read some of the LJ goings on that I had missed over the past few days. I must say, I haven't missed much of interest. Without using names, I'll just say that A has reacted violently to B's criticisms, and C has weighed in on the matter, and I'm sure at some point B will fire off a lengthy response, and that somehow it will include criticism of D, who admirably refuses to be diverted from pursuing his intellectual interests into the fray!

Would that more were like D, which is the example I try to follow. Of course, that example is more likely than not to get me a set of keys to the clubhouse.
