Blar Tuesday

I think it's the curse of a lot of people who enjoy intellectualizing that people who haven't got fully formed viewpoints seem to think that those who do are self-important.

Tonight, I intended to write about an article I blogged yesterday. But I'm suffering from a terrible headache, so it's going to have to wait. In the meantime, go read Michael's insightful commentary. My own reaction to the article was just as violent. I'll write about it soon.

Very sad to see what's going on at the Reckless Kelly official website. It's left me embarrassed to have even an unofficial association with the idiots. I don't mind sophomoric pranks -- hell, I have pulled off our share of those. But some things just cross the threshold of good taste. Civilized humans ought not act certain ways. Especially civilized humans with a large public following. I guess I shouldn't expect a band to act like civilized humans -- just enjoy the music and leave it at that, right? But making allowances for people is not something I do very well. If I were the sole proprietor of 8 More Miles, I would take the whole son of a bitch down tonight.

I cannot get on any kind of fitness routine, and it's giving me the blahs. Two days per week seems about all I can manage, and I haven't even managed one day at the gym yest this week. Pitiful. Yet I just finished a day filled with things that had to get done, and it's 10:30 pm. *shrug* So it goes.
