Xmas Eve

We made the decision last night to have our Xmas meal a day early, because of the chance I might leave early to try to beat the winter storm home.  The meal was excellent -- I very much enjoyed the stuffing and rice casserole that I missed on thanksgiving -- but it turns out it was unnecessary to do it a day early, as the winter storm is almost certainly going to arrive just in time to delay my travel.  But I look at it as a nice chance to relax if it happens.
