Roughly one year ago, I found an extremely cheap airfare to London ($199 roundtrip!) and housesat for almost a week for my good friend Mr. Kellas (and his better half), who were themselves ringing in the new year in Australia, if I remember correctly. While there, I saw that fine BBC documentary that eventually led to the Gordon Stuber Tribute Page. How fitting that the tribute pages have shown a fair amount of activity in the website referrer logs today. Happy Anniversary!

We aborted an attempt to see RK after checking out the Firehouse. It was just too smoky, I was too cranky, and Callie was too sick for it to be a wise thing. There will be future shows. It's a shame, though, because I spent much of the day doing the final mastering of our boots of their 2000-12-30 Mucky Duck show, and preparing the boot cds for them. They aren't back in Houston for a while, so I guess FedEx will have to make the delivery for us.

A few tweaks of this site are on the way. The journal intro page is going to be replaced with the current journal entry, thereby cutting down on clicks required actually to GET to stuff, and the banner pages need a little tweaking. Nothing major -- just the ongoing quest to get things exactly like I want them.
