Rearranging

Every once in a while, I look around my apartment and come to the conclusion that it's not at all ordered properly, and then it's time to rearrange.  Usually, this just takes place in the living room, which means all sorts of electronic stuff must be disconnected, moved around, moved around yet some more, and finally all reassembled -- along with everything else (like furniture).  This phenomenon took place tonight, and things are largely put back together, although I need to pick up a 12-foot printer cable to complete the entire process.  The major benefit to this shuffle that took hours -- now my computer sound system can interact with the stereo system, helping out with the production of various live bootleg recordings and such.  It's all about integration!

Speaking of live bootlegs, I forgot to mention in the prior journal entry that we finally got to see the Groobees at the Mucky Duck.  They're a very talented band and I highly recommend them.

My Amazon.com Xmas order has gotten all screwed up and won't arrive for Xmas.  The whole point of Amazon is for me to be able to AVOID actual physical shopping as much as possible.  Instead, they've left me in the situation of now having to venture out among the frenzied hordes with a week left.  Blar!
