Rudyard's

I met a few people for beers at Rudyard's tonight.  Rudyard's is one of those pubs I've meant to take in for ages, but for whatever reason just haven't.  It's an excellent place!  It has a very traditional British pub atmosphere, and a friendly crowd.  We tried to stick around to see Damnations TX play upstairs, but having started so early, we petered out after the opening band.  Just can't sit in a bar for 8 hours or so anymore!

Mr. David Talbot, the founder of Salon.com, agrees with Joan Walsh's assessment of me and takes it one step further in email today.  According to him, I'm a "MAJOR LEAGUE asshole."  No minor leaguer am I! Left wing nuts are funny when they are PMSing!  This election must really have them upset.  Either that, or the fact that the market has totally rejected their effort, and their stock risks being delisted.  Ho hum.
