A bit of good news on the free(er) trade front:
Congress is set to approve new trade negotiating authority for President George W. Bush - a victory for the administration that could herald a series of crucial global and bilateral trade agreements.Funny, but after Bush's crassly political steel-tariff decision, I seem to recall certain web pundits complaining hysterically that Bush had abandoned free trade and was destined to be a one-termer.
Perhaps not.
