Election Day

It's unlikely that the weblog will be updated on Saturday, as I'll be serving as a poll watcher in the runoff election from 7 am to 7 pm (plus setup time before, and breakdown/transportation to the central counting location afterwards), and then will most likely spend the rest of the evening at the Orlando Sanchez watch party. The weblog will return, of course, on Sunday, and I am hopeful there will be good news about the mayoral election.

The portal has been updated quite a bit lately, and the fine links there should provide hours and hours of entertainment. :) Enjoy your Saturday as I am out volunteering my time to ensure the integrity of the democratic process in Houston.
