Lessons of Lochner?

It is highly useful for purposes of the dissertation to run across statements like this (from Cass Sunstein -- whom I disagree with considerably on normative political and legal philosophy, but whose understanding of Lochner converges with my own in some ways):

"Almost eighty years since the case was decided, the lesson of the Lochner period has yet to be settled." (1987).

Now almost 100 years since the case was decided, we've still not reached consensus on the Lochner era. My dissertation treats that issue indirectly, but it's still relevant. Quotes like Sunstein's are great for the introduction and lit review!
