Theater and Flashbacks

It is a depressing thing when someone comes to visit from the UK, wonders if one might see a decent stage production on a sunday night of a long weekend, and the answer is no (unless one counts a musical production). In fact, for some reason the Houston theater scene has been taken over by the musical genre. I suppose that is just catering to popular tastes, like most other things. Ah well.

Yesterday, I went in to the office and picked up a recent amazon order that had arrived. I had ordered two Pat Benatar cds, and two books on Reagan, one of which still hasn't shipped (Steve Hayward's first volume of the Age of Reagan, which will be the most important work on Reagan published to date). Just call it an 80s Flashback Weekend!
