Project Update

Yesterday I finished insulating all of the ductwork with the exception of the main supply duct that comes out of the wall from the a/c unit. It's going to require some meticulous fitting, and I just didn't have it in me last night. What a tedious, nasty job! But it's satisfying to be nearly done with it. And I will agree with my friend Micah -- doing a project like this is satisfying enough, but it also makes one thankful to be able to earn a living doing something ELSE for 8 hours a day!

We invited the landlord in to take a peek at the progress. I don't think he knows quite what to think of us. By his own admission, he doesn't have a clue when it comes to construction or home repair or the like. But I think he could tell the difference between my effort and the idiot handyman's.
