The Daffy Woman
I'm working from home today, so Callie and I made our fairly regular trip to the 59 Diner for breakfast, and were entertained by the slightly daffy woman I have mentioned before. Turns out she has worked at the place for 17 years. No doubt she has many entertaining stories, some of which she shared with us today. It never ceases to amaze me how much one can brighten someone's day with genuine interest and a few good questions -- or how much one can sometimes learn, for that matter.
