Live

Okay, the redesigned beast is finally live.

Everything is a mess right now, and things need a bit of tweaking, but I think most everything is working.

Many things from the old site have purposely been discarded. A few sections (photos and backpacking most notably) haven't been ported over just yet, and aren't the highest priority items right now. I've also terminated the inline comments feature of the journal in favor of a link to the message boards. However, those of you kind enough to leave inline comments will still find them there.

My apologies to those of you who have been kind enough to link to the site in the past. The weblog front page is now the default screen for the site, and the journal front page has been moved to a new directory, but other than that, the previous file structure is completely unchanged (which means if you've linked to specific journal entries, they're still linked).

If you'll pardon me, I need to clean up some messes now.
