Bigfoot in the Big Thicket

In a journal entry dating back nearly a year, I asked the following question (which should not be confused with what I call a "good question"): "Will President George Bush be faced with a resurgent Russia under Vladimir Putin, as well as Bigfoot?"

The answer to the Russian component of the question remains to be seen, but if the billboard at the Bookstop on Shepherd/Alabama (announcing an upcoming in-store presentation: BIGFOOT IN THE BIG THICKET) is to be trusted, it would seem that we are indeed experiencing a resurgent Bigfoot right here in the not-so-dense forests of Texas. I may have to attend what should prove to be an informative talk.
