Sports Analogies

Packing for a move always takes much longer than anticipated. Everything but the kitchen and electronics is pretty much packed now, along with some odds and ends. The whole thing is exhausting.

Several thoughts to develop after the move:

Trent Lott, Barry Switzer, and Larry Dierker all have quite a bit in common. When Lott and Dierker are removed (fired?) from their current positions -- which will happen this year, I'll wager -- they will all have more in common. None of them have much in common with Phil Jackson. Or Joe Torre, for that matter.

It may not be "nice guys" who finish last, but guys who don't act much like guys.

Some final packing for the evening, then off to bed.
