This is going to be a short entry, because it's late and I'm tired.

8 More Miles is eating way too much time.  But it's time well spent.  It's a little like parenting -- the thing is embryonic, then born, then eventually grows into something.  At least it does if the parent is worth a damn.  And not all of them are, but that's a topic for another time.  It does explain the preponderance of bad websites and bad people to a large degree, however!

It's stupid even for Euros to impose sanctions on Austria as a result of completely democratic elections that saw a distasteful character (Jorg Haider) gain power, yet virtually to ignore widespread voting irregularities in Peruvian elections

Fujimori may not be the most democratic ruler in Latin America, but he's probably the best ruler Peru will ever see

Plagiarism says a lot about someone

I've not found time lately to catch up with Hanah, Samantha, or any number of other people

It's not glamorous, but ground beef is a very good thing

EV1 gives a ton of webspace, plenty to hold 8 More Miles, my personal site, and the journal, with over 200 megs of space to spare
