REFLECTIONS OF AN OBJECTIVIST MUSE

Welcome Home

Today, I was up at 5:00 am to make the 7:20 am flight home.  It was a great flight, as I was in an aisle seat, nobody was sitting in the seat beside me, and I slept probably 2/3 of the flight.

Returning home from a week away is almost always a relief.  This time it certainly was.  Kiwi was quite pleased to see me!  And after a week away, the feelings of sitting in one's chair and checking the email for the first time, of sifting through the mail Callie had brought in, of getting caught up on the sports new -- all of these are very good things.

The best thing was Callie getting in from work.  Physical separation for a week is a tough thing for me.  It's going to be awesome having her go to London with me next week.

So, tonight it's time to reacquaint myself with my life.  It's good to be home.
