Misdesigned, Mismanaged, and Full of the Worst of Houston

Via a link from Owen, I see that Adrianne Truett tried out Houston's new "world-class" rail system over the weekend.

I stole the title for this post from her description of the experience, but I'm not gonna excerpt anything. Just go read (you may have to scroll down -- I can't seem to get the permalinks to work).

I stopped by a Houston Metro RideStore on my way home from work tonight to buy the $25 downtown railpass. I presented my credit card to pay for it, and was told that Metro was only accepting cash and checks....
