Yes, I Am Grumpy
I guess the campaign staff of the "smart" candidate for mayor aren't very good at reading.
Because despite my prominent No Soliciting sign, someone taped a Bill White placard to my door while I was at work.
Right by the No Soliciting sign (which is subtitled "No Political Campaigns").
I even took a photo of the thing. Click More to read it.
I know, a no soliciting sign has no real legal force. But one would think "smart" campaign staff would try not to annoy a potential voter.
Oh well. It made for an amusing photo. Interestingly enough, other than the Bill White campaign, most door-to-door annoyers tend to respect my little sign. I guess maybe I should add a "No handbills" disclaimer to it.

Everyone complains that there is not enough jobs and people aren't working. Who do you think is causing this? People who put up "no soliciting" signs and who are rude to people who are doing a job that most people couldn't do because of their lack of ambition and lack of wanting to do hard work. These are also the people who are crying for more jobs and higher pay.
When a solicitor comes to a door, they should be respected for their tenacity and hard work, trying to keep people working here in the United States.
Just think how it would feel if your boss said, "Don't bother me today--stay home, without pay."

Really?
Why didn't you post your phone number?
Or your address?
Give me those, and I'll have you all the solicitors you want at your place. I may even place an ad in the greensheet for you.
So put your money where your BIG mouth is and send 'em to me.
Otherwise, I'll do what I like on my property, and you can do what you prefer on yours.
And your example is retarded. My boss HIRED ME to do specific work. I don't go to random workplaces bothering people. Imagine if I wandered in, say, random McDonald's stores and annoyed the staff with "Hey, do you need a political risk analyst today?" If I kept it up, they would call the police and remove me.
That would be retarded. Like this comment.
I rarely do this, but I really don't think you're a very good reader or commenter to this weblog. Maybe you'd really rather go somewhere else?
