Greece Trip: 05/11/08 (Sun) -- Winding down on Paros
From 05/08/08 on, I had pretty much stopped writing up my bullet notes in my written journal. I may fill them in a little here, but this is mostly just a chronological dump from what's in my notebook. I regret that I've inevitably lost some detail this way, but I really got into Paros and didn't feel like writing in detail.
- Callie and her mom off to church first thing in the morning. No thanks!
- Fired up the EEE PC and managed to use Skype and Hotel Argonauta's free wifi to call my mom and wish her a Happy Mother's Day. I wish she could be on some of these adventures. The wifi was sporadic, and eventually killed the call, but it worked well for 10-15 minutes, which was cool.
- Hanging at the coffeeshop. Yeah, we may be lame. But it's a fun place in the center of everything, and they have good breakfasts. Why not?
- Yiannoulis for lunch. Yay Yiannoulis, and that effing good Moussaka. Callie thinks the owner's son is a cutie. I'm much more interested in that effing good Moussaka. *shrug*
- No idea what we did with the rest of the day, but we had dinner here.
- Leaving tomorrow. I will miss this island, although I think the rest of our crew preferred Naxos.

Hanging at the coffee shop - a very typical Greek past time and the best way to people watch. Sometimes that is the most fun thing to do!
