Idiot driver taunts Danger Train
Here's a fun photo I snapped earlier with my cameraphone:
I'm in the Jeep, headed east on Elgin at Main.
The pickup driver is making an illegal left turn headed southbound on Main. He is sitting on TWO Danger Train tracks as he waits for traffic to clear (in the rain) so that he can make his illegal turn.
Sadly, the Danger Train was nowhere to be found. I was all set to document the collision!

would you blame metro or the driver?

Oh, the driver would definitely have been at fault.
But, the accident would have illustrated (once again) the folly of building rail lines down busy traffic corridors in Houston. We know Houston drivers aren't the best -- so why combine Houston drivers and trains?
How many reports do you see of NYC's subway or Chicago's El hitting cars because a car made a dumb left turn? Not many. :)
