National Night Out
During National Night Out, I went to the gym in my neighborhood for a long workout.
I then went to the Cafe Express (not in my neighborhood) for Caesar salad and a glass of wine.
By the time we got back (after dark), the National Night Out festivities in our park were done. This neighborhood is no place to be out at night, after all. :)
How did you spend your National Night Out?

We combined our Cub Scout pack meeting with the neighborhood festivities going on down at the pool. Hot dogs, snow cones, and swimming kept the kids occupied while the adults talked. They had a drawing for some pretty nice prizes and my son ended up winning a cooler. What does an 8-year-old need with a cooler? I don't know, but he was pretty stoked about it anyway. All in all it was a nice evening.

Never heard of it. If it was last night, we spent it at the airport in the cellphone parking lot. Very romantic :)

We would have painted the town red last night with the money we must now fork over for the deductible on our vehicle broadsided while parked at the Galveston seawall in broad daylight by a hit and run driver. C'est la vie! :(
Don't park along the seawall!...Saturday afternoon traffic is too snug and congested!...or maybe it is safer at night?
IMHO, hit and run is such a rude crime!

I forgot all about it. Usually 3-4 senators want proclamations for their local goings-on, so I'm alerted ahead of time to look for stuff, but nobody asked for one this year.
