Lodge Hibachi

I've had my eye on the cast-iron Hibachi-style grills made by Lodge for some time, but I finally bit the bullet and purchased one of the little guys today.

The steaks I grilled earlier to inaugurate thing really turned out nicely. I mainly wanted one of these for future Float and camping trips, but it may become my regular steak grill.

They're about half the manufacturer's list price at local Academy Sports stores.

She always likes grilling. She just plops down in the grass and enjoys the smells!

Nice...

I've been cooking with propane lately but am about to make the switch back to charcoal. It just tastes so much better.

i cut "the back 40" with a weedeater. Not a good idea to be standing in wet grass and have an extension cord attached to oneself. it makes the wet-grass excuse a real one. :)

Anne, you already have them lined up for therapy according to some local liberal media types. no need to pile on. :)
