Raiders back to drawing board after flop in opener (AP)
Art Shell was brought back to the Oakland Raiders to return the team to its level of the old days.Only those days weren't supposed to be 1961, the only time the Raiders were blanked in a season opener before Monday night's 27-0 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
The Raiders are just a mess.
I love the fact their offensive coordinator hasn't been an NFL coach for over a decade, instead playing Bob Newhart at a B&B.
I also love the fact that they brought in Jeff George for a few weeks to see if he could help them at quarterback (he couldn't). I'm thinking Ken Stabler and Jim Plunkett might as well get a look, too, while they're bringing back the golden oldies.

Ever since they resurrected Plunkett, they have tried to dig up old slingers again and again.
Regardless, it must be much more fun to be a Raider fan than what we're having to put up here...way too vanilla.
Teams are definitely indicative of their owners.
...a Packer fan.

Teams are definitely indicative of their owners.
Isn't that the truth?
I honestly think that Al Davis may not be well these days.

yeah, Kevin, I think Mr. Davis may be suffering from dementia or something. When a football organization gets too weird for even Randy Moss, you know something's gone bad.
