Not the hotel you want to get on Priceline
Flagship Hotel owner found incompetent to stand trial (KHOU news blog)
A federal judge signed an order Friday confirming his earlier decision that Daniel Yeh, owner of the Flagship Hotel, is incompetent to stand trial.
Yeh is accused of bilking at least $232,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Charges against Yeh include filing fraudulent reimbursement claims from FEMA which had been paying hotels to grant refuge to people left homeless by hurricanes Katrina and Rita last year.
Yeh's attorney said he has undergone three surgeries to remove brain tumors and therefore was not competent to stand trial.
He's also probably not the best guy to be running a hotel. Especially a hotel that rests on a pier over the ocean.

What is too sad? Daniel Yeh being "incompetent"? What a joke! He is crazy like a fox is what he is. He knew what he was doing. Years ago, even before he had his brain tumors his ethics were not as they should have been. I'd bet there was a CRAZY girlfriend that made him do it. The man has no backbone.
