New Feature
I've enabled a Nucleus feature that I should have enabled some time ago.
Commenters now have the ability to create an account in Nucleus for commenting purposes. This allows a logged-in user to edit comments, and to bypass the captcha challenge graphic.
I planned on enabling the feature in the coming redesign, but there's no real reason to make anybody who might want to use it wait. The links to create an account and to log in are also in the comment section of individual posts.

TrackBack
There are currently no trackbacks for this item.
Incoming trackback pings have been disabled because of abusive spammers. Technorati is now used to track cross-blog conversation.

Most excellent!
What happened to Trackbacks?

I finally had to disable trackback here and on blogHOUSTON. The spammer abuse was just out of control. While the blacklist plugins were catching them all, the bastard spammers were literally pounding the server with hundreds of requests per hour, triggering the spam control plugin, and basically just causing problems. Plus I had to go in manually and delete the old trackbacks. So I've just had to turn the pings off for now. It's a damn shame. Spammers are evil.

I'd been unsuccessful in my attempts to get Trackback working again. Sounds like that might have been for the best.
Glad you got the accounts up and running, though!

are these accounts good over at BH too? (what I know about nucleus you could fit into a thimble and still have room for your thumb.)

Nope, unfortunately you have to create accounts at both places. If I were a php/mySQL guru, I'm sure I could come up with some way of sharing the membership, but I'm not that sort of guru. :)
