Terrorist Bombings Hit London
London rocked by terror attacks (BBC News)
UK Prime Minister Tony Blair said it was "reasonably clear" there had been a series of terrorist attacks.
He said it was "particularly barbaric" that it was timed to coincide with the G8 summit. He is returning to London.
An Islamist website has posted a statement - purportedly from al-Qaeda - claiming it was behind the attacks.
We are all Brits today.

update, those numbers were from just one of the bombs. the numbers stand at 45 dead and over a thousand injured as of about 20 minutes ago. let us hope that the terrorist's plan backfires and instead of motivating a withdrawl like it did in Spain, it further enrages the british electorate to stamp out these examples of human waste.

Bull. I'm an American. I'm a Texan.
I can sympathize with the victims without making myself one Oprah-style.
I wasn't a New Yorker when Rudy G. said we were all New Yorkers.
I wasn't a Madridite when Zapatero said we were all Madridites.
And I am most certainly not a member of Red Ken Livingstone's festering cellspool of a capital city.
