Jury Duty
Jury duty was uneventful.
I sat in the assembly room, but was never called and was dismissed at lunch.
I did get several hours of reading, and the book on the '76 Reagan campaign is good so far.

Im Missouri, you'd score about six bucks for such a day.
In two days, you could buy a dimebag.

I want jury duty! (From what I've heard from people who were called, though, in the questioning, admitting you want to be there can be enough to disqualify you!)

My dad was very active in the Texas portion of the Reagan '76 campaign. A few years ago, Nightline did a prime-time program on Reagan. When they got to the '76 campaign, they showed a scene where my 19 year old father is sporting some serious sideburns, a plaid flannel suit, and shaking hands with the Great Communicator himself while at some non-descript airport terminal.
Shocked the crap out of me. =)
