Moving Countdown

The weekend packing got slowed down a bit by Kiwi's trip to the vet (she seems fine now), so what's the solution?

That's right -- move up the movers to Friday instead of Saturday!

Nothing like a little deadline to keep things hopping.

I don't think Callie believes it, but there IS a method to the madness. Really....

Just not much blogging to be done between now and the move, most likely.

Excellent idea. Moving house on a Friday is a good excuse to take a day off work. I hate doing things I don't want to do on a weekend.

Remember to take a picture of all wire connections on the back of computers, Replay TVs, televisions, etc. It will make life much easier when you plug them in again. You must have a method to your madness.

Ha ha ha... Cathy, pictures? For electronic connections?

Those things are easy. My bigger problem will be, "Oh hell, now WHY is the coffeemaker in a different box than the coffeepot, and where IS that damn pot?"

:)

The coffee pot would travel with me on the front seat of my car as I followed the moving van. I would not let it out of my sight. As for the electronic connections, perhaps a picture would help Callie? (Whoops, did I hear a hiss?) Before digital cameras I used to paint each end of the cables different colours.

Hint on boxing items to move or donate to charity or toss out.

If you have not worn it for a year, you likely will not wear it after you move.

Any extra ammunition can be cycled. Also, check the dates on the batteries and canned food.

Did you really want to save those books, magazines, etc. - can it go into storage?
