If We Could Just Add Some Sunlight To The Mix...
I might as well just move to the UH campus.
I'm doing the baseball game at 2pm today, then a break, then the basketball game at 7pm.
In between, I'm planning on finally making my first trip to what some folks call the best Thai place in town.
And our local newspaper has offered up lots of silliness today as well that could stand a post or two.
But folks will have to wait for me to be "prolific." Life intrudes. :)
(Update) Cougar baseball blew an early lead with poor play, and could never come back. Cougar basketball drew the biggest Hofheinz crowd of the season (6,200+) and never trailed in avenging a loss to TCU in Fort Worth earlier this season.

So how was the Thai place?

Excellent. Not only was the food good, but the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. None of that "hello my name is ___ and I'll be your waiter..." or "how is everything" when your mouth is full. Chuckles took our orders with a smile and was civil. We took in our own wine and were provided with a corkscrew and four glasses. The waitress kept a large bowl of rice topped up in the middle of the table. The crockery was unusual and clunky, yet attractive. We ordered four soups for four but should have gone with two soups for four as they brought large bowls with small side bowls. The food not only tasted great but it looked good too -- very colourful. Our cars were intact when we got back outside and we didn't see any dead bodies.

You really should create a category for UH sports...

Alex: I keep saying I'm not going to blog THAT much about UH athletics, but it seems to keep happening, huh? Maybe I do need a category....
