MNF

It's the first night of Monday Night Football this preseason, and that makes it a very good night indeed.

Cowboys-Texans this weekend. Excellent.

They ought to make a beer commercial from this.

Kevin and Chris are moping around in a non-descript sports bar. Nothing on TV but baseball... then suddenly, ABC gives us Monday Night Football, John Madden, and NFL cheerleaders...

*cue the music to the Mary Tyler Moore show

<i>"Football's finally here, can't believe its made it,
If I miss it live, TiVo will tape it.
I'm going to make it after all...."</i>

Ugh. Good game for pre-season, but the loss of Jansen will be devestating.

No giggling over there.

I thought about audioblogging the pop-fizz of a Shiner opening, then the first four notes of the MNF theme, but I couldn't get the timing right.

Maybe next week.
