The Village Idiot? Oh my!

Dave WardIn addition to kicking some serious news arse in Houston every ratings period, ABC-13's Dave Ward just plain rocks:

"People have known us for so long. The real spark, of course, was in 1972 when we hired Marvin Zindler. He was working for the sheriff's department before that. Everybody knew who Marvin was. My God, when you put the Village Idiot on the air, everybody is going to tune in."

Ha ha ha ha!

That's hilarious.

Dave Ward, by the way, is the best teleprompter reader EVER.

Better than Reagan. Better than Clinton.

Nobody beats Dave with the teleprompter.

I always remember Dave and Marvin being there. Stan (DH) didn't know "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" was based on a Marvin investigation. I'm surprised nobody's written a play about Dolcefino yet.

Not many people can outdrink Dave, either.

Now that's just cold, Pete.... hilarious, but cold. =)

I'll watch Dave Ward over Greg Hurst and Bill Balleza / Khambrel ??? any day.
